Sunset Beach Irrigation Upgrade in the Off-Season.

My customer in Sunset Beach, NC wanted to install new sod to the front and side lawns but the irrigation system was not up to the task. The sprinkler coverage was spotty at best and did not cover all the areas where the new sod would go. This would require more than some simple Irrigation System Repair & Maintenance. THE IRRIGATION NEEDED AN UPGRADE!

Seagreen performed this job during the winter season prior to the new sod installation. Step 1 on any job requiring digging and excavation is to call the utility marking company. A pressure check on the existing system helped determine the design. Two additional irrigation zones were needed. The new valves were added to the system. A trencher was used to install the pipes at the proper depth. The new high-efficiency irrigation sprinkler heads were installed and the trenches were covered. The additional heads will water the new lawn properly and efficiently. Proper spacing of the heads eliminates dry spots.

Once completed, the lawn was prepared for the new sod. Now the homeowner is ready for spring!
